Housed in identical cases this 5.8GHz Video and Audio transmitter receiver kit is built to the highest quality, for maximum transmission distance when using outside it is recommended that you mount the TX/RX units in a suitable weatherproof enclosure externally if possible to reduce any attenuation of the signal by objects such as walls. As with any radio signal the transmitted signal will be attenuated by any obstacles in its path. The best range can be achieved by line of sight and in free  unblocked space, conservatively these ranges are 30M indoors and 100M outdoors using the supplied antennae.
