This all in one Portable Infrared Trail Camera unit is ideal for capturing shots of wildlife, fly-tipping or pretty much any sort of covert surveillance in remote areas where mains power is not practical. It's a weatherproof box and has built in infrared LED's & a motion detectors, there is no flash to disturb the animals or alert the trespassers or fly-tippers etc. It's named the trail camera as it's extensively used for wildlife filming to capture elusive creatures on game trails without disturbing them in their natural habitat, however, this product is now being used considerably for capturing vandalism, fly tipping and other illegal activities in remote areas where an electricity supply is not available. It offers date & time stamped digital stills (12MP) or video (640x480) footage, the photos can be sent via MMS to your mobile phone or to your Email Inbox as well as being stored on an SD card (16GB max not supplied) inside the unit. The camera is powered by 4x AA batteries (not supplied) and will power the camera for 3 months, an additional battery pack (supplied) can take another 4x AA batteries giving an extra 3 months power making a total of 6 months. This camera can also be used with the solar charger to extend the length of time it can be used without replacing the batteries.
